1. Acceptance
By using Kaata, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
Kaata is a general-audience app for real-world kite-fighting scoring. If local law requires parent or guardian consent for a younger user to use online services, use Kaata only with that consent.
3. Your account
The app assigns an anonymous device-bound identifier on first launch; reinstalling the app or clearing storage creates a new identity. You can optionally sign in with Google or Apple to keep your community activity, listings, and purchases attached to an account you can recover on any device. Provide an accurate display name and photo. Impersonation is grounds for termination.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully.
- Submit hateful, harassing, or infringing content.
- Use multiple identifiers or automation to manipulate the leaderboard.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to circumvent the app's security.
5. Your content
Match data you record belongs to you. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it as required to operate the service, such as showing your matches to your opponents.
6. Service availability
We provide the service as is with no warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may modify or suspend features with reasonable notice.
7. Paid community listings
Listing a shop, brand, club, or channel in the Kaata community directory may require a one-time in-app purchase (a "listing slot"). Payment is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play — Kaata never sees or stores your card or banking details. The price is always shown in the store's payment sheet before you confirm.
- One purchase unlocks exactly one listing, which you can edit an unlimited number of times. Publishing an additional listing requires an additional purchase.
- Deleting your own listing releases your slot — you can publish a new listing later without paying again.
- Listings must follow the community listing rules. A listing removed for violating those rules (for example, promoting banned nylon/"Chinese" manja) does not entitle you to an automatic refund.
- Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from, under Apple's or Google's refund policies — request them through the App Store or Google Play, not through Kaata. If a purchase is refunded, the associated listing slot is revoked.
- Prices may change; changes never affect a slot you have already purchased.
8. Termination
You may delete your account any time: open Kaata, go to the Profile tab, tap Privacy & Data, then Delete My Account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Deleting your account does not automatically refund purchases.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
