Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Kaata.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Privacy & Data.
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period and no need to contact us first.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer open the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost the device), email kaata.247@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Kaata account". We action these requests within 30 days. If you only ever used Kaata as a guest (without signing in), tell us your display name and roughly when you last played so we can find the right record.
What is deleted
- Your display name and profile photo.
- Your account identifier and sign-in link (Google/Apple email).
- Your leaderboard entry, trophies, and badges.
- Community content you created: your supporter listing, your reviews and ratings, and your backing (upvotes).
- Every anonymous usage event recorded against your account.
- Any reports you filed, including their free-text details.
What is kept, and why
- Match history shared with other players is retained in pseudonymized form (your name becomes "Deleted Player"), so your opponents' own scorecards do not break. It can no longer be linked back to you.
- Purchase records for any in-app purchase may be retained where required for accounting, tax, and refund handling. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Kaata.
Export your data first
If you want a copy before deleting, use Profile → Privacy & Data → Export My Data in the app. It returns a JSON snapshot of everything held against your account.
